Travel into Glasgow:
By train – Glasgow Central links the city to England (including major cities like Manchester, Birmingham and London) as well as locations in Scotland, while Glasgow Queen Street connects to Edinburgh and elsewhere in Scotland, particularly further north. Both stations are in the city centre and are very close to subway stations (Glasgow Central is near to the St Enoch stop, and Glasgow Queen Street is connected to the Buchanan Street stop).

By air – Glasgow Airport, Prestwick Airport, and Edinburgh Airport are all easily accessed from the city centre. There is a direct service between each airport and Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow city centre: the Glasgow Airport Express service 500 (run by First Glasgow) for Glasgow Airport, the Stagecoach Western X77 for Prestwick Airport, and the Citylink AIR for Edinburgh Airport. Direct trains run between Glasgow Central and Prestwick Airport. There are also taxi services available.
